IPM Tools in nutshell

Main activities
To improve teachers’ readiness and skills to adapt new technologies the coordinator and the partners arrange training and guidance for the teachers. In training is in the beginning Peda.net Web Magazine and each country produces language version to be used in project. Information From the teachers will be gathered on the experiences and examples of good practices concerning the integration of web based learning environments and tools in various country-specific topics and /or subjects. Priority will be given to thematic areas that have a trans-European point of view (e.g. European minorities, cultural and economic heritage, combating exclusion and racism).

Target groups
In IPM Tools target groups include pre-service and in-service teachers, students in primary and secondary schools, researchers in the field of ICT, developers of education.


Envisaged outcomes include
1. translation of the server software into relative languages

2. teaching material produced by the web-based tools (e.g. courses, modules, portfolios and guidelines)

3. reports on the experiences and good practices of the use of ICT and web-based tools in education

4. homepage of the project

5. collaboration under the Comenius 3 thematic network related to ICT in education.
