 IPM TOOLS SEMINAR. A Coruña, 2003On Tuesday, 3rd June Estonian, Finnish, Lithuanian, Norwegian and Slovenian delegations arrived in a beautiful city of A Coruña in Galicia.

On Wednesday, 4th June, began the official programme of IPM Tools' international seminar. The seminar venu was Center of Formation and Resources of A Corunna.

The warm welcome speech was given by CFR Director Celestino Perez and Inspector Carlos Varela. Project coordinator Pentti Pirhonen gave introduction of seminar programme. CFR advisers Rosario Belda and Nuria Abalde informed about the practical issues during the seminar.

Estonian delegation gave presentation of how ICT is used in their schools in overall and examples of good practice.

Lithuanian delelgation presented their interesting examples of good practice in using web tools in netlearning.

Slovenian delegation attended for the first time seminar and gave good presentations of web usage and aims how to use it in the future in their pilot schools.

Galician schools gave very good and versatile examples of how they have used and developed teachers skills and collaborative working in different projects and themes. One of them is 'Europe, 25?' Web Magazine that was coordinated by Galician partner, CPI O Cruce school.

In the evening teachers had workshop "Learn Internet Project by Doing" chaired by Mr Ilpo Halonen (FI). In this workshop participants saw examples and learned basic things how to use one web magazine, eJournal.
At the same time steering group had meeting with project issues like planning activities of next academic year.
The final acitivity for the first seminar day was international evening with versatile typical national "snacks" and drinks.
